Dr Raymond Kan

Dr Raymond Kan received his medical degree from the University of Hong Kong, he then completed his urology training at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He obtained the fellowship in Urology from the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and was awarded the CH Leong Medal & Scholarship in 2016. He was elected distinguished young fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in 2017.

He pursued his post-fellowship training under the auspices of Mrs Esther Wu Memorial Fund Scholarship. During his stay in Mansoura Egypt, he was trained in post-cancer surgery reconstructive urology, and he then completed his training in functional urology at University College London Hospitals in London UK.

Dr Kan is an active member in the field of minimally invasive procedure and uro-oncology. He was invited as guest speaker at different occasions in Singapore, Nepal, Mainland China and Taiwan. He has been the local Course Director of the yearly urodynamic courses held in Hong Kong. In recognition of his contribution to the urology community, Dr Kan was awarded the UAA-Youth Section Fellowship Award in 2019.

He is currently the Honorary Treasurer of the Hong Kong Urological Association, upholding the standard of urological practice and empowering the public with a better understanding of urological diseases.
